If the temperature should rise above 39 degrees Celsius during a session of organized competition, play shall be suspended until the temperature falls below 39 degrees celsius, then play will resume. A match/ set will only be completed if the club captains agree it is safe to continue.

If the club championships are postponed due to excessive heat the club captains will determine the future date for the championships.

If individuals still would like to have a hit of tennis ( but not organized competition by MLTC), it shall be at their own discretion. Players would be expected to minimise the risk of heat exhaustion by taking appropriate action (ie. appropriate hat, clothing, sunscreen and consume adequate amounts of fluids).
